In our first lesson we conduct a Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) test to identify the students language level in writing, reading, listening and speaking. We will discuss our findings at the end of the class.
Whether the student struggles with speaking, writing, reading or listening we provide resources so that the student can continue to improve their language skills outside of class. This could include:
Based on the results of the CEFR test and discussion of the student's language goals, we will create a unique study plan for the next month of 1-1 tutoring to ensure consistent language progression.
After a month of weekly spanish classes or english classes we assess the students progress with a language progress test. This focuses on the weaknesses identified as part of the CEFR test and indicates whether the student has made an improvement to their level since the first class. We discuss the results and make changes to the classes as required.
We provide detailed feedback and corrections for any work set in the english classes or spanish classes. This includes an outline of what went well and what needs further improvement. This could include:
